2001

visual projects

Brunswick Bowling projects ranged from one color flexographic packages to full litho label packages. I acted as the lead artist on the Brunswick account and served as the primary contact for the client.

THE ART CENTER / PRESENTATION
Development of an interactive presentation for promotion of The Art Center and many of its capabilities.

Details of the project include a large amount of information that needed to be categorized, over 200 samples of work and general information of The Art Center.

I used Macromedia/Adobe Director to put the presentation together.

NEENAH PRINTING
This package was used to promote a new product from Neenah Printing. The product and the promo were, sort of, one-in-the-same. The new product was a very tough paper that could be used in various ways. We decided to make the promo a bit interactive by including directions to make a simplified origami bull. I developed the idea, hired an artist for the bull sculpture and lead the Art Direction for the photography.

HUFFY SPORTS
Development of new packages, specifically, litho labels for a pool friendly basketball hoop.

Although it follows the rest of the family look from other Huffy Sports products, this concept added some more graphic elements to distinguish it from other products.

GRILL TOPPER LOGO TYPE
Logotype developed for a series of labels/packaging.

SANDMAN BREWING CO.
Type and artwork created for a local micro-brew.

KASE SKINCARE & MASSAGE
Letterhead, business cards, appointment cards and invoices designed for a local small business.

Some considerations included some low cost printed pieces (i.e. 1 color invoices and letterhead) but it also included a 4 color business card on high-quality stock.

GILMOUR GROUP
Concepts for a 2002 Gilmour Group product brochure. My concept involved retro photos to give an established feel to the brand. And, at the same time, include a slight humorous touch as well, to a relatively dry product grouping.

Another goal was to make the page layout easy-to-read and to included charts and symbols, when possible.

HUFFY SPORTS
Wal-Mart approached Huffy Sports to develop exclusive packaging for their stores. My concepts included four-color spot-litho labels in conjunction with two color direct printed corrugated.

ROCKFORD FOSGATE
Development of new packaging ideas for the retail market. Package shapes, materials and an appetite to see unique solutions made this particular project fulfilling.
