GRAPHIC DESIGNER / OWNER / Fresh Daily Design Co., LLC
2009 - Present (project by project basis)
As a person who thinks about design constantly throughout the day, it seemed logical to utilize some of my time to doing projects out-of-scope from my 9-5. I've worked on branding, web sites, bicycles (not too much of a stretch), web images/assets, packaging, newsletters and anything else that seems interesting and fits into my schedule. I did work "full-time" in contractor status from October of 2009 - February of 2011 but family needs warranted a full-time position.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau
May 2013 - April 2017
An opportunity to work part-time as a designer with a friendly schedule was too good to pass up, with two small children at home. The GMCVB gave me the chance to work on posters, leisure campaigns, billboards, photo curation and art direction and event assets that were used in the local area of Madison.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / CPM Marketing Inc. / Healthgrades
February 2011 - May 2013
As a part of the Marketing/Creative arm of a database company, we dealt with direct mail campaigns in healthcare. With over a dozen clients spanning across the US, I would layout various campaigns using variable data to drive a more personal approach to direct mail.

ART DIRECTOR / Cycling Sports Group / Cannondale Sports Group / Pacific Cycle
August 2004 - October 2009
Throughout my time at Pacific Cycle, then to Cycling sports group I had opportunities to work on the graphics on hundreds of bikes, packaging, websites, catalogs, skateboards, battery powered ride-on toys and much more. The variety of projects and markets seemed to have endless possibilities. I learned a great deal about bicycles and also about leading a team.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / Menasha Packaging / The Art Center
July 1998 - August 2002
My first professional experience out of my undergraduate studies. An amazing opportunity that I loved. We mostly worked on all types of packaging and Point-of-purchase displays but our focus was with corrugated material. Clients included anything from Titan locks, Oral B, Kotex, Huggies, Old Wisconsin Sausage and Huffy Sports.
